1. Organization responsible for processing

Reborn Studio Inc. (referred to as “Atelier 14,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for processing personal information collected through the platform available at atelier14.app and the marketing website at atelier14.studio.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Registration information: email address, optional name, and authentication information managed through Supabase Auth.
Project and usage information: uploaded images and other media, projects, compositions, instructions, settings, outputs, generation history, ratings, and interactions with collaboration features.
Gallery consent: the specific output covered, the version of the notice accepted, the date of consent, approval status, and the date of any withdrawal.
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Browsing information: including IP address, device or browser type, pages viewed, and usage events collected through Google Analytics and PostHog when consent is required and obtained.
Cookies: cookies strictly necessary for authentication, security, and preferences, as well as analytics cookies subject to our consent mechanism.

3. Why we use information

We use this information to:

Provide, operate, and improve AI-assisted image rendering and video features.
Manage your account, projects, workspaces, credits, and subscriptions.
Send service communications and, when you consent, marketing communications.
Measure platform usage and performance to improve the user experience.
Prevent abuse, protect accounts, and maintain the security of the Service.
Publish a specific output in our gallery or promotional communications only after your explicit consent and approval by our team.
Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Grounds for processing

Depending on the context and applicable law, processing is based on your consent (including for analytics cookies, newsletters, and voluntary publication of a specific output), the performance of our agreement with you (providing the Service), or our legitimate interests (improvement, abuse prevention, and security) where these grounds are permitted. Refusing marketing publication of an output does not affect your access to the Service.

5. Service providers and sharing

We use the providers listed below for functions necessary to deliver their services. Project data required for a generation may, in particular, be sent to the engine you selected.

Supabase: database, authentication, and storage.
Stripe: payments and subscription management.
Google AI (Gemini and Nano Banana): image analysis and generation when that engine or feature is used.
OpenAI (GPT Image): image generation and editing when that engine is selected.
Fal.ai: video generation and processing for experimental features when those features are used.
Resend: transactional email and, with consent where required, marketing email.
Vercel: hosting and delivery of the application and website.
Google Analytics and PostHog: audience, performance, and product usage measurement when analytics tools are allowed.

These providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada depending on their infrastructure and the feature used. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

6. Project access, media, and the marketing gallery

Your project data is subject to access controls associated with your account and, where applicable, your workspace. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and any sharing links you create.

Some historical media may still be delivered through a storage URL that must be treated as confidential. Do not share such a URL with anyone who should not have access to the media.

An output is eligible for the marketing website gallery only after explicit consent covering that specific output and approval by Atelier 14. Marking an output as a favourite never constitutes consent. Withdrawing consent ends publication of the output through the process provided in the platform.

7. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

Essential: authentication, session security, and language preferences. These are required for the Service to function.
Analytics: Google Analytics and PostHog. Where consent is required, these tools are activated only after your selection in the consent banner, and you may change that selection later.

8. Information retention

Account information: retained while your account is active, then deleted or anonymized according to our operational timelines and applicable retention requirements.
Images, projects, and outputs: retained while your account is active or until you delete them, subject to temporary backups and legal requirements.
Gallery consent: a minimal record of consent, approval, and withdrawal may be retained for audit purposes. Publication ends when consent is withdrawn or the output is deleted.
Payment information: retained by Stripe under its policies and applicable requirements.
Analytics information: retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics and PostHog.

9. Your rights (Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA)

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, and request portability of certain information in a structured format.

To exercise a right, email admin@atelier14.app. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

10. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the nature of the information, including TLS encryption in transit, authentication, and access controls. No system can eliminate all risk. If a privacy incident occurs, we will take the steps and provide the notices required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or our obligations. If a change is material, an appropriate notice will be displayed on the platform or provided as required. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
