RoomGPT alternatives for Canada, in French and English: 7 tools compared (2026)

RoomGPT is English-only and prices nothing. Seven alternatives compared: French support, a room that stays recognizable, real products and costs.

RoomGPT made a simple idea popular: a photo of the room, a style, and AI shows what it could become. But RoomGPT is English-only, only shows its prices after you log in, and says nothing about what the work will cost. Here are the alternatives, depending on what matters to you: French, a room that stays recognizable, real products or the price.

Disclosure: Atelier 14 publishes this article and is on the list. The facts come from each vendor’s website, read on October 23, 2026.

What RoomGPT does, and what’s missing

  • What it does well: a photo, a style, a result in seconds. Great for exploring ideas.
  • Language: website and interface in English.
  • Price: credit packs, no subscription; prices only appear after you log in.
  • What’s missing: no real products, no cost estimate, and the room can change from one render to the next.

Don’t confuse RoomGPT with RoomsGPT (roomsgpt.io), a different tool that has a French page.

Depending on what you’re looking for

A French interface. Atelier 14, Styly and Spaace It have a French website. Atelier 14 is also built in Quebec, in Stoneham, with an app in French and English.

A room that stays recognizable. In Atelier 14, you choose how far to go: Keep preserves the layout and changes the finishes, Rearrange rethinks one area, Reinvent rethinks the whole room. The engine is guided to preserve walls and windows; still check every render, as with any AI tool.

Real products. Spaace It and REimagineHome place products you can buy, from European or US retailers. Atelier 14 replaces elements of the render with real manufacturer products, with their shop link.

The cost of the work. Atelier 14 reads quantities from the image (cabinets, countertop, backsplash, flooring) and prices the project in three ranges, with prices collected in Quebec, GST and QST. Renovate AI also gives an estimate, from its Pro plan, with US retailer prices.

Homeowner or professional?

  • You’re renovating your own home: start from a photo of the room and compare a few directions before calling a contractor. For a ballpark without an account, try our kitchen cost calculator.
  • You’re a designer or kitchen designer: check the commercial licence (at Renovate AI, only the Max plan includes it), the client presentation, and whether you can replace each element with a real product.
